MyFaceShaper uses a facial-landmark model in the browser and compares proportions including overall width and height, cheekbone width, forehead width and jaw width. Rules then map those measurements to one of six common categories.

Does MyFaceShaper upload my photo?

The current analyzer is designed to process the selected image in your browser. The face-landmark calculation does not require the photo to be uploaded to a MyFaceShaper server.

What photo gives the best result?

Choose a clear, front-facing photo with your whole face visible. Avoid extreme camera angles, heavy filters, strong shadows and hair covering the main outline.

Can a person have more than one face shape?

Yes. Face-shape categories are simplified descriptions. Someone can have characteristics of two categories, and a different photo can produce a different estimate.
